Layout


Lilac Nirvana

I actually didn't want to use purple for this layout because when I think of Kenren, I don't immediately think of purple. However, the picture that I chose has him standing amongst purple flowers, so what can I do? I'm actually unsure of what type of flowers those are...maybe irises, but they're hanging downwards. So I don't know, but it's convenient for making a flower petal shower, which actually happen more frequently than it probably should in an angsty series like Saiyuki Gaiden.

I quite like the 3 things that I've classified as making Kenren a rebel - his gun, his skull and chains that he wears over his chest, and his sake. Of course, those aren't the things that entirely make him a rebel - his personality and attitude are what say it all. But for layout purposes, they're a nice touch! Other than that, it's a pretty simple layout, made for lots and lots of text space because I anticipated writing essays.
